Geneva College is excited to welcome six new faculty members beginning in the fall of 2024. These qualified individuals bring years of experience and expertise into their fields of study, further equipping our students to go out into the world after graduation.
Dr. Julie Durbin
Dr. Julie Durbin will be an associate professor of English and humanities. Dr. Durbin earned her PhD in intercultural studies from Biola University in 2016 and has worked as an adjunct associate professor at Geneva since 2011.
Dr. David Narigon
Dr. David Narigon is to be an associate professor of education. Dr. Narigon comes to Geneva from Fort Cherry School District, where he was an elementary school teacher. He earned his EdD in curriculum and instruction: middle grades education from Liberty University.
Dr. Steven Lippold
Dr. Steven Lippold will be an assistant professor of mathematics in the Department of Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Most recently, he was an instructor at Bowling Green State University while getting his PhD in mathematics in 2023. Dr. Lippold is also a visiting assistant professor at Taylor University.
Dr. Anton Leontyev
Dr. Anton Leontyev is to be an assistant professor of psychology. Dr. Leontyev obtained his doctorate in cognition and cognitive neuroscience from Texas A&M University in 2022. His specific areas of interest include human-computer interaction, ADHD, motor control, machine learning and big data, and impulsivity.
Dr. Zachary Kail
Dr. Zachary Kail is the new chair for the Department of Biblical Studies, Philosophy, and Ministry. Dr. Kail received a PhD in hermeneutics and biblical interpretation from the Westminster Theological Seminary. Kail has language proficiencies in Biblical Greek, Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Aramaic, Modern Greek, Spanish, German, French, and Italian.
Dr. Donald Little III
Dr. Donald Little III will be an assistant professor of biology, earning his PhD in 2021 from the University of Michigan in cancer biology. Dr. Little brings much experience to Geneva as he was an assistant professor of biology at Concordia University Ann Arbor and an adjunct professor at Madonna University.
